Happy December! I make it my personal goal every holiday season to do all of my shopping online, and my absolute favorite type of shopping to do is for stocking stuffers. Even as a kid, I enjoyed opening up my stocking the most – I loved to see what little treasures I would find in it! For some reason, all of the little things excited me even more than larger gifts! Today I’m comin’ at ya with the first of three stocking stuffer guides – inexpensive Amazon stocking stuffers for her! I own all of these items so they are tried and true, and the best part is that each one is very affordable, and can be purchased from Amazon. Score!
1. Pointed Tweezers
The only tweezers I’ll ever use – the pointed edges make hair removal a breeze. I’ve never had success with regular slanted tweezers, so these are a welcome change. I’ve had them for years, and they’re perfect for eyebrows or unwanted facial hair. 🙂
2. Makeup Eraser
This handy little towel eliminates the need for buying makeup remover. Just wet it with regular water, gently scrub your face, and voila! Your makeup is removed. Simply toss it in the wash after a few uses and you’re good to go! I have a separate one that I keep in my travel bag as well.
3. Koffie Straws
Perfect for the coffee/tea lover in your life! These straws are perfect for both hot and cold drinks, and are eco-friendly because they eliminate the need for plastic straws. My favorite thing about them is that they also help minimize teeth stains from drinking dark beverages. With all the coffee I drink these days (#Momlife), I figure that little perk can’t hurt. 😉 They’re also made from silicone, which I prefer over loud metal straws.
4. Konjac Sponge Set (Charcoal, Turmeric, Green Tea)
I keep one of these in the shower so that I can give my face a good scrub each day. They’re perfect for exfoliation, but are still gentle enough for sensitive skin.
5. Makeup Blending Sponges
These sponges are perfect for blending in foundation and concealer. Just dampen them with water, and your makeup goes on flawlessly. These are perfect for a makeup-novice like me. 🙂
6. Collagen Face Masks
I love putting one of these on at the end of the week, when I want to truly relax and unwind. They leave skin super soft and hydrated.
7. Natural Bamboo Charcoal Oil Absorbing Tissues
I have some of the oiliest skin on the planet, so these are lifesavers. I remember using them on my wedding day, so that I wouldn’t look shiny in our photos. 😉 Just blot one all over your face when you’re a bit more shiny than you’d like to be, and your face will be matte in no time!
8. Natural Mint Shoe Deodorizer
This isn’t the sexiest of items, but it’s incredibly useful. Sometimes shoes tend to…well, stink. I am on my feet all day long as a teacher, so a few sprays of this stuff into my shoes keeps them smelling fresh. It also allows me to get more wear out of my shoes, so I don’t have to buy new ones quite as often.
9. Curve Heart Ring Holder
Barry gifted me this a few Christmases ago, and it’s something I still use daily! I am paranoid about losing my wedding ring and engagement ring, and pretty much the only times I take them off are when I shower, and at bedtime. I have made it a rule that I am only allowed to put them on this holder, so that way there’s no chance of losing them. The added bonus is that this holder looks pretty on my nightstand.
10. Brilliant Beauty Eyelash Curler
Even though I’m a beauty minimalist, I do curl my eyelashes each day because it really helps me look more awake. This curler is the best I’ve had, and it also comes in a sweet little drawstring bag.
11. Vaseline Lip Therapy
Anyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with this stuff (and I have been for a good 15+ years!) My friends from college used to make fun of my obsession all the time. 🙂 I always have at least 1-2 tubes of this lip therapy on me at all times, and it keeps my lips nice and hydrated. I love that it’s free of fragrance and that it just works really, really well (it’s especially essential for the cold Winter months!)
12. Portable Charger
This is more a splurge item for a stocking stuffer, but love this portable charger! It’s nice to know that I have several extra charges on me at all times for my phone (or any other items that need charging) and it’s a good size for travel, too!
13. Shampoo Brush
File this one under things I didn’t know I needed, until I had them! With my super curly hair, I use a LOT of product in it to keep it tamed (hello, gel!) Because of that, I’m more prone to buildup. I bought this on a whim one day and haven’t looked back since. It’s such a simple and inexpensive tool, yet it ensures that I get my scalp thoroughly cleaned each time I was my hair. Genius!
14. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circles Under-Eye Eraser
I’ve already raved about this little wonder in my New Mom Essentials post, but it deserves another mention. This is probably my favorite of the inexpensive Amazon stocking stuffers! I have always struggled with under-eye circles, no matter how well-rested I am. This eraser does an amazing job of eliminating circles/bags, and it’s also incredibly inexpensive. I use it every single day now, and it’s definitely my favorite makeup item!
15. St. Ives Radiant Skin Face Scrub
This is my go-to face scrub – the price can’t be beat, and it does a great job of exfoliating. I love the pink lemon and mandarin orange scent, but I’ve also tried some of the other scents (green tea, oatmeal, etc.) and they have also been great! Use this with one of your new Konjac Sponges, and you’re all set!
