Happy Holiday season! We’re at you today for the first time in a while…is anyone else having a hard time keeping up with everything this year?! OK, glad it’s not just us. 🙂 I sat down yesterday to create this list of inexpensive stocking stuffers for kids because – holiday shopping time is here! Last year, we did a three part stocking stuffers series which focused on Inexpensive Amazon Stocking Stuffers. If you missed those posts, here they are:
Inexpensive Amazon Stocking Stuffers for Her
Inexpensive Amazon Stocking Stuffers for Him
Inexpensive Amazon Stocking Stuffers for Babies
These posts are trending again on Pinterest this holiday season, and every single item on each list is something we love, use (or have gifted), and stand by. I figured I’d complete the series this year by creating a list for all of the awesome kids in your life! Each of these items are affordable and can be easily ordered with a few clicks from Amazon. So without further ado…here are our favorite inexpensive Amazon stocking stuffers for kids!
1. Scribble Scrubbies
Have you ever heard of Sribble Scrubbies?! They are the cutest toys that are popular with both boys and girls! This small pack is perfect for stockings and includes a Rhino and a Hippo. Kids will have so much fun scribbling designs on the animals with the markers in the kit – when they’re finished and ready for a new design, they can use the included scrub brush and some water to scrub off of the old design. Repeat…and repeat, and repeat some more. 🙂
2. Scratch Art Rainbow Mini Notes
I gifted these to my niece for her birthday, and they are so much fun! Doodling is even better when it’s in rainbow colors. These Post-It sized notes are the perfect stocking stuffer.
3. Invisible Ink Spy Pens
These pens remind me of one of my all-time favorite childhood movies, Harriet the Spy. Write a secret, invisible message on paper…which can be read by using the light on the cap. So fun!
4. Pin Art
This is such a classic game! Make a fun 3-D shape/picture using the pins – and the small size of this (just 3.5×5 inches) makes it perfect for stockings (and taking along wherever you go).
5. Twistables Crayons Coloring Set
These twistable crayons are such a huge hit with kids of all ages. This big box has 50 vibrant colors.
6. UNO Emojis
UNO is another classic game – this one is the updated version featuring emojis. 🙂
7. Miracle Melting Unicorn
This is the unicorn version of one of my favorite holiday/Christmas toys (the Original Melting Snowman). I loved the Snowman so much that not only did I give it to my niece, but I also gave one to my Dad (who is a kid at heart :)) and bought one for Barry and myself! This unicorn is exactly the same except, well…it’s a unicorn! Create your unicorn using the putty and accessories, let it sit for a bit, and watch it melt!
8. Chapstick S’Mores Collection
This new holiday S’Mores set of Chapsticks are perfect for keeping lips hydrated, and the fun flavor is perfect for Winter!
9. Smack It Card Game
An updated version of the classic card game War, this one is fun for the whole family!
10. Kanoodle 3-D Puzzle Game
Kids will have so much fun with these solo logic puzzles – perfect for those times when they are “SO bored” and need something to do (bonus points for it not being a screen!)
11. Mini Glow-in-the-Dark Keychain Car
These little cars are so cute, and the fact that they glow in the dark makes them even better!
12. Cat’s Cradle Book Kit
I am totally re-living my childhood with this stocking stuffer! I had this book and rope when I was a kid, and used to LOVE making all of the string figures and showing them off to my parents! Such a timeless game.
13. Would You Rather?…Eww! Edition
One of the many things I’ve learned as a (mainly) fifth grade teacher, is that kids LOVE “Would you rather?….” discussions and scenarios! Even more so, so many kiddos enjoy discussions about gross things. Ha! This book combines both of them, and is sure to make for some funny discussions with lots of laughs for all.
And there you have it – inexpensive Amazon stocking stuffers for kids! This wraps up our Stocking Stuffer Gift Guides – happy shopping!
*One last big tip – be sure to sign up for Rakuten if you haven’t done so already! If you click to the website you’re shopping at through the Rakuten site and make a purchase, you will get cash back that will be mailed to you in the form of a check. Unfortunately, Amazon is no longer affiliated with Rakuten as of this year, but so many other stores are. Just the other day I bought a few gifts and earned $26 in cash back. Definitely check it out – we have been using it for years, and it’s so nice to get rewarded with money, simply for shopping. 🙂
