Total Time13 mins
Servings: 22 TBSP

  • 5 avocados
  • Filtered water

  • Cut avocados open and remove pit. Scoop out flesh, and add it to your blender or food processor.
  • Add some filtered water, and blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Using a tablespoon, spoon the mixture into an ice cube tray. Smooth the top of each cube with a rubber spatula, then freeze.
  • Once fully frozen, remove avocado puree cubes from the ice cube tray and transfer to a storage bag, then return to the freezer. Use as needed.

Baby food purees can be kept in the freezer for up to six months; however, they are best consumed within three months for optimal freshness.
When it's time to eat, thaw the cube(s) in the fridge beforehand if you have time. If not, place a frozen cube in a small microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 10-second increments, until thawed. Be sure to test the temperature first before giving the food to your baby.
